New Music video_Gentle Man

PSY (Park Jae-Sang) is a South Korean K-Pop star known for his sense of humor – during concerts he’ll sometimes perform as famous female Korean stars. He graduated from Boston University and attended Berklee College of Music, but his music has been considered somewhat controversial in his native Korea: He was fined for his first album, PSY from the PSYcho World!, for promoting inappropriate content for underage listeners and his second album was banned. The Gangnam district is an upper-middle class district on Seoul, Korea.

North Korea Missile Activity: South Korea Reportedly Detects Increased Movement At Rocket Sites

After a report that North Korea was placing its rocket units on standby to attack U.S. military bases, South Korea's Yonhap news agency is now stating that South Korea has detected increased activity at the country's missile sites.
KCNA News reported that leader Kim Jong-un had signed the order at a meeting of top generals and said the time had come to "settle accounts" with the U.S.
The Yonhap news agency quotes a military source as saying, "Sharply increased movements of vehicles and soldiers have been detected recently at North Korea's mid- and long-range missile sites."
On Thursday, the U.S. flew two stealth bombers on practice runs over South Korea, showing force after several threats by North Korea. Media Grand Prix Goes to South Korea's Cheil for Virtual Grocery Store

Cheil Worldwide in South Korea took home the coveted prize for creating a virtual grocery store in a Seoul subway for Tesco (the British chain that's been renamed Homeplus in Korea). The shelves are laid out just like a physical store, and the items are fully shoppable via smartphones and QR codes. People waiting for their trains can scan items right into an online cart, with the items to be delivered to their homes. A case-study video is here.
The 'Homeplus Subway Virtual Store'

What it is: The "Homeplus Subway Virtual Store" was an idea conceived by Cheil to help the retailer get an edge over its larger rival, E-mart. Instead of trying to persuade consumers to visit the store, Cheil had the idea to bring the store to busy, hardworking people. It recreated lifelike images of store aisles in subway stations that were interactive and allowed people to shop from the store simply by taking pictures of the products with their mobile phones. Their orders were later delivered to their homes. Although engagement with the idea was only in the tens of thousands, online sales for Homeplus jumped by 130%, the client said.

Korean Webcomics to the World

Korean web-toons are a subgenre of manhwa that are published exclusively online as Web Comics, usually on comic hosting sites such as Naver. Their layout is different from standard manhwa — instead of individual pages, webtoons are posted as one long, scrolling page per chapter, with most being entirely in color. Because they are not bound by publisher requirements as much as their print counterparts, web-toons also tend to be a little more avant garde, with either less conventional story lines or dealing with subjects that aren't usually addressed in mainstream entertainment. Although the readership of these web-toons were once restricted to the Korean speaking population only, the popularity of series such as Trace, Noblesse and Tower of God has recently generated a solid western fanbase for the medium.
